Anti Counterfeit Trade Agreement (ACTA) Close to Being Signed for Illegal Downloads
New legislation that will give Governments around the world more power to snoop your internet connection in the “War on Piracy and Illegal Downloads”, is soon to be signed in Tokyo this month.
The ramifications of this legislation are yet to be seen, though we can only speculate that it will cause more problems than it solves. By secretly trying to push this legislation through without the consent of the public, and lack of transparency on the contents of the agreement, people are likely to protest this move in a multitude of ways.
