Billions in Taxes
This is too true to be funny. In A country like ours we are the highest taxed per head of population!
The next time you hear a politician use the
Word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about
Whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending
YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
But one advertising agency did a good job of
Putting that figure into some perspective in
One of its press releases.
1. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
2. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
3. A billion hours ago our ancestors were Living in the Stone Age.
4. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
5. A billion dollars ago was only
13 hours and 12 minutes,
At the rate our government
is spending it.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago…
And our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt…
We had the largest middle class in the world…
And Mum stayed home to raise the kids.
What the hell happened?????

What has happened is that we are being used as slaves to make money for the people who run the world. Why have mom stay at home and look after the kids when she can also work in a factory office and make more money for ‘them’? Consume and consume some more…

It’s the result of the pathetic statement we frequently hear: “Why doesn’t the government do something about it?!” We’re trained to look upon government as our saviour and in so doing we enrich the public servants, the politicians and now the corporate sector “in partnership” with government.
