Time to change ‘colonial’ Australian flag – Ray Martin
The quote below is from an article that was posted on the news.com.au website this morning. It appears Ray Martin doesn’t appreciate the Commonwealth Constitution, and considers it and our flag as childish.
Martin said yesterday he would lead a campaign to replace the existing “colonial” flag.
“I object to having the British flag in the corner of our flag,” he said.
“We have well and truly reached the point where we should have our own flag. I think we have to grow up and move on to the next stage,”
Martin’s bold campaign comes as Labour Party sources confirmed the Rudd Government, if re-elected later this year, will hold a referendum on a republic.

A link to the Voice of the Australian Constitution below was submitted as a comment to the above article this morning, it will be interesting to see whether it actually gets published as it encourages people to be informed about Australia’s history and the constitution’s significance in protecting the people from corruption when understood and used correctly.

the 2nd pointer should replace the Union Jack , could even squeeze the Union Jacks colour’s on it , red , white & blue points , leaving 2 points for back and yellow , to stop the arguing about who’s on top it should be blue on top , then we can change the anthem to ” i am , you are , we are Australians ”

could also not have a top to the star , the queens flag has blue on top , Cathy Freeman can run with the black point on top , so the colours remain in the same positions to each other but there is no law about witch is to be shown on top ( revolving on moving media )

If we are prepared to be fair-dinkum about the flag, all government departments, quangos & banksters should be compelled to display a flag that accurately represents the kind of business in which they are involved, ie the ‘jolly roger’
